Because I do. And they do. Well, if the peer pressure angle doesn't work for you, we think Oyeme is perfect for your site for a few more reasons.
Beautiful User Interface
Content management doesn't have to be ugly and bad design doesn't have to get in your way. Oyeme was designed meticulously to make your content editing easy and intuitive rather than clunky and hard to manage. Great design is much more than prettying up things. We believe good function follows from good form. So we've paid really close attention to the user interface to make your job easier, and dare we say, enjoyable. You might just keep the CMS browser tab open on the strength of good looks.
Flexibility with smart constraints
Some content management systems give you so much flexbility they leave you lost at the login screen. Others lock you in tightly to a set way of doing things. With Oyeme, you've got great flexibility in the type of sites you create, the customization of each page on your site and more but smart constraints so you don't get lost on the way to building a great site.
With Oyeme you can create an unlimited number of pages and control the main content area of each page along with any additional blocks of content. You can use widgets to create dynamic blocks of content and then add those to page sidebars. So, you can make a widget that contains the last 5 blog posts from your News category and add that in the sidebar of your About page.
Or create a Section of content containing your mail address and add that to the sidebar of your contact page where a contact form will send messages to an email address you provide and log all the contacts you get through your site.
Many sites use a header image on each page or at least on the home page. You can upload files and specify a different header image per page on your site.
With Oyeme you can also upload image files and easily crop and resize them to match the dimensions of your choice.
Us or Them or Both?
You can easily incorporate data from other web services in your Oyeme site. You can use Oyeme's blogging system but if you prefer tumblr, or already have a blog up and running, just import your blog posts and bibbidy bobbity blogging - their added to your Oyeme run site with links back to the original posts.
You can track your sites stats using Oyeme's built in stat tracking or you can plug in your own Google Analytics code and it will automatically be added to all of your sites pages. Just log back into Google Analytics and watch the pageviews pile up.
So you can use us or them. It won't hurt our feelings. Really.
